BRISTOL BOTTLING WORKS

The Bristol Bottling Works is listed in the 1910 city directory as being located at 712 Shelby with R. B. Brinkley listed as Proprietor.(1) Of course this bottling company shouldn’t be confused with the original Bristol Bottling Works which by 1910 was called the Dixie Coca-Cola Bottling Works. The company obviously didn’t last very long as the August 1913 Sanborn Fire Insurance map shows that building being occupied by the Davis-Sparger Auto Company, and has been replaced by an expansion of Hecht’s Bakery by 1950.

Using the Sanborn maps I have determined that this was the location of this plant
