POP KOLA BOTTLING COMPANY Inc

On June 6, 1960 the Pop Kola Bottling Company was incorporated by John Hall, James Boyde Poe, Joyce Louise Hall, and Lida W. Poe signing.(1) The only clue to their location is a classified ad placed in the Kingsport Times News on the same day for an experienced route salesman, which gives their location as Orebank.(2) The company doesn’t seem to have lasted too long and during this period Pop Kola didn’t have any town names on the bottles aside from the parent company’s address in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The ad from the Kingsport Times News

16oz Pop Kola bottle dated 1960. Could this be the type of bottle bottled by this company?
